I am not sure whats been happening lately but I have been having these crazy erges to bake. Another recipie being posted today is cream cheese cookie cups. They are so so easy and so so yummy. I found the recipie on allrecipies.
Here are the cooking instructions I used:
Ingredients
425g package refrigerated chocolate chip cooke dough
160g cream cheese, softened
45g tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
200g cups confectioners' sugar
Cut cookie dough in half (save one portion for another use). With floured hands, press about 1 tablespoon of dough onto the bottom and up the sides of 12 ungreased miniature muffin cups. Bake at 180oc for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Using the end of a wooden spoon handle, reshape the puffed cookie cups. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter and vanilla until blended. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar. Spoon into cookie cups. Store in the refrigerator.

Okay so for the big news of the last 6mths or so ..... were having a baby! Yay. I am so so excited our little bundle who has been nicknamed anything from Bambino to Button to Dudelude is due on the 8th of December. Very much a little surprise (okay a big surprise) our little baby is sailing along fantastically and now at 24 weeks enjoys jumping around like a acrobat and kicking me randomly in the bladder, all of which by the way I am absolutely loving. We don't know the sex and don't plan on finding out until he/she is born which is so hard sometimes. The pregnancy itself has been pretty good, no morning sickness really, no odd food cravings nothing that would stick out and tell you that I'm pregnant, well except for the rounding tummy. We are also starting to set our nursery and I have started collecting lots of second hand clothing and bits and bobs. The scan attached was taken at 20 weeks and was in itself an amazing experience, after the tech took pictures of the heart which it stayed nice and still for it decided to start flipping about all crazy, which was amazing because it this point I couldn't feel it and to see it move around was just crazy. Then in typical style the little thing fell asleep with its head down in my pelvis which by he way was just as the tech was trying to take pictures of the brain, this resulted in some jiggling to get the it to swivel around a bit. Too cute! |

Well can you believe how long it has been since I last updated anything on my blog! I'm not going to even look at the last post date as I think it will just be depressing. But the good news is that a lot has been happened in my life during that time. My partner and I finally brought our own place which is really awesome, we managed to get a massive block almost 1000m2, it has a wonderful garden with 4 water tanks, about 6 fruit trees which we have to wait until a little further into spring to know what they are, a few herb plants sprinkled throughout the garden including 2 large rosemary bushes, a vege patch and green house which Tom has already planted a few winter vegetables in and a chook shed that just needs some TLC and hopefully when its warmer will house some chickens. I just can't wait to get out there and get my hands dirty but I think it will be another month before its is warm or dry enough to start. |

"I am the beauty of the green earth, and the white moon among the stars and the mystery of the waters, and the desire of the hearts of humanity. I call unto thy soul -- arise, and come unto me. For I am the soul of nature, who gives life to the universe. From me all things proceed, and unto me all things must return. Before my face, beloved of Gods and humanity, let thine innermost divine self be enfolded in the rapture of the infinite. Let my worship be within the heart that rejoices, for behold, all acts of love and pleasure are my rituals. And therefore, let there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honor and humility, mirth and reverence, within you. And you who think to seek for me, know your seeking and yearning shall avail you not unless you know the mystery: that if that which you seek you find not within you, you will never find it without. For behold, I have been with you from the beginning, and I am that which is attained at the end of desire."
